I've always been fascinated by birds. And lately, I've been seeing birds in the weirdest places.
Take a look at these recent news stories...

Bluebird
One of the big stories this past week was that billionaire founder of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, made a bid to buy Twitter, the social media and micro-blogging platform.
This comes after Musk purchased $2.89 billion of Twitter stock (9.2% of the total shares), making him the largest shareholder of the company. Twitter then offered Musk a seat on their board of directors, which would have limited him to owning a maximum of 14.9% of the company's stock.
Musk declined the offer.
After a group of angry Twitter shareholders decided to sue him over the timing of the disclosure of his stock purchase, Musk just went ahead and offered to buy 100% of the company at $43 billion. His offer was a HUGE $6 billion premium over the company's
$37 billion current valuation.
As we all know, Twitter has been at the forefront of censorship in recent years. They've banned anyone they didn't like, under the guise of "violating their community standards" and/or for "spreading misinformation or disinformation."
Some famous names who have been permanently banned from Twitter include: President Donald Trump, Mike Lindell (the "My Pillow Guy"), Sidney Powell, James O'Keefe (Project Veritas), U.S. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, Dr. Robert Malone (inventor of the mRNA vaccine technology), General Michael Flynn, and Juanita Broaddrick (Bill Clinton rape accuser). Many other conservative voices have been banned, as well.
What makes the censorship even more egregious is seeing who Twitter has NOT banned from its platform: Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Vladimir Putin, and the Taliban.
So...the liberals at Twitter melted down this week when they found out that Musk might buy the entire company.

Musk sent a letter to Twitter's chairman stating that, "I invested in Twitter as I believe in its potential to be the platform for free speech around the globe, and I believe free speech is a societal imperative for a functioning democracy." The board of directors responded by adopting a "poison pill" strategy to make it much more difficult for Musk (or anyone) to buy the company through a hostile takeover.
What is interesting is that the board hired Goldman Sachs to investigate and analyze Musk's offer of $54.20/share. But, it turns out that Goldman Sachs actually has a sell rating on the stock, with a target price of $30/share. Oops...
It is becoming increasingly obvious that Twitter's desire to control free speech is a much greater priority than their fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders. By turning down his offer out of hand and going against the best interests of their shareholders, Elon Musk says Twitter faces "TITANIC" legal liability.

We'll have to wait and see how this all turns out, but it is certainly giving Twitter shareholders a lot to "tweet" about.

Peacock
Peacocks are known to be very proud birds. They strut and preen, and love to show off their plumage. Hence the saying..."proud as a peacock."
Well, the NBC peacock was certainly strutting and preening this week.
MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski showed her proud plumage when she pontificated about Elon Musk possibly buying Twitter. She touted the liberal left's view by saying that Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter would be a "danger to democracy" and set a "very dangerous precedent."
But, the punchline of her commentary came when she said, "It's OUR job to control what exactly people think." Here's the clip:
There you have it. For once, the media has told the truth. We know what they think of us. Thanks for saying it out loud, Mika.
But there is one thing that can be said about a peacock--without it's feathers, it's just another turkey. (Apologies to Dolly Parton, who said something like that.)

Lovebirds
If you've seen any of the televised White House press briefings led by press secretary, Jen Psaki, you're probably aware of Peter Doocy.
Doocy is the White House correspondent for Fox News. What makes him a stand-out reporter is that he is the ONLY reporter who isn't afraid to confront the Biden regime and ask tough questions. The rest of the White House press corps seems to offer up simple, softball-type, pre-planned questions and to then regurgitate back whatever narrative they're fed by the White House.
In short, Peter Doocy has gotten under their skin.
Back in January, Joe Biden was caught on an open mike calling Peter Doocy a "stupid son of a b*tch," when Doocy asked a question about inflation at the conclusion of a press briefing. Biden later phoned Doocy and (sort of) apologized by saying, "It's nothing personal, pal."
Well, the love-in continued this week.
In a podcast appearance on April 14, 2022, Jen Psaki was asked by the podcast hosts "if Peter Doocy is a stupid son of a b*tch or does he just play one on TV?”
Jen's response: “He works for a network that provides people with questions that, nothing personal to any individual including Peter Doocy, but might make anyone sound like a stupid son of a b*tch.”
Here is Peter Doocy asking tough questions about immigration and Jen Psaki condescending:
Two basic conclusions can be drawn here:
Jen Psaki doesn't like it when the public doesn't buy what she's selling.
Jen and Peter aren't lovebirds.

Ostrich
China is pursuing a zero-COVID policy that currently has the city of Shanghai and other cities in China in total and complete lockdown. The lockdown in Shanghai (a financial hub and one of the most affluent cities in the world) is so draconian and tyrannical that people are actually starving and committing suicide.
Drones, robot dogs, food shortages and the cruel killing of people's pets on the street are the realities being faced by the city's inhabitants. While people are literally screaming for food, these robots roam the streets with megaphones blaring, "Wear face masks!" "Avoid crowds!" "Wash your hands!"
And although Dr. Fauci has been keeping a fairly low profile these days, he did resurface in an interview this week. Fauci let the truth slip out by actually PRAISING the Chinese lockdowns and saying, "You use lockdowns to get people vaccinated."
This all flies in the face of anecdotal evidence that increasingly shows vaccines are not as "safe and effective" as we're being told. As of April 15, 2022, the CDC has reported of 1.2 MILLION adverse events and 27,000 deaths as a result of people getting the jab.
Here is a list of other stories that mainstream media is choosing to stick their heads in the sand about and ignore:
There has been a five-fold increase in sudden death and cardiac arrests in FIFA professional soccer athletes.
Fifteen professional tennis players dropped out of the 2022 Miami Open because they felt unwell.
371 professional soccer players have heart attacks in 2021 shortly after they've been vaccinated.
769 athletes have collapsed while competing over the past year.
Virginia pediatrics office will not clear vaccinated student athletes to compete in sports without performing lab work and possibly an echocardiogram to rule out potential heart damage.
Life insurance deaths up 40% among working age people - NOT the elderly.
Are all of these unusual events connected to the vaccine? Medical professionals and experts around the world are sounding the alarm.
But Big Pharma, the government, and mainstream media all say, "Move along. Nothing to see here."
Just like the ostrich, they have their heads in the sand. And they're trying to keep everyone else's head in the sand, too.
If you can't see it, it's not really there. Or, is it?

Vulture
Joe Biden's approval numbers have hit a historical low, according to a Quinnipiac poll released on April 13, 2022.
A former Clinton pollster declared that re-election is a "virtual impossibility" with such low approval numbers.
MSNBC's Chuck Todd was shocked by Biden's approval cratering. Even CNN appears to be throwing in the towel.
You know it's bad when the mockingbird media that parrots the leftist agenda can't cover for you any longer.
The vultures are circling.

Chicken
Over the years, we been treated to radical activists bringing attention to their causes by doing some outrageous stunts.
Examples of some of the more bizarre protests include actress Darryl Hannah spending two years in a tree to save a farm; eco-warriors dangling from a bridge in Houston to protest the shipment of oil through the ship channel; and, during the Brexit debate, climate activists gluing themselves to Parliament while naked.
Well, this week, fans at the NBA playoff game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Los Angeles Clippers, were treated to another strange protest.
A woman ran onto the court and glued herself to the hardwood floor. Evidently her idea was that, by doing such a thing at an NBA game, she could save animals. Actually, to be more specific...chickens.

The woman was wearing a t-shirt that read, "Glen Taylor Roasts Animals Alive." Glen Taylor is the majority owner of the Timberwolves team and also owns an egg farm in Iowa.
The farm was forced to destroy the chickens due to an outbreak of avian flu among the hens. However, it is alleged that the chickens were destroyed by an illegal method of ventilation shutdown (VSD)--essentially heatstroke and suffocation.
I think everyone is in favor of kind and humane treatment of animals. But, somehow, gluing your wrists to a hardwood floor while grown men are bouncing a ball doesn't seem to solve much of anything for the chickens of the Earth.

Cowbird
And finally, for the best bird story of the week...
During a speech in Iowa on April 13, 2022, Joe Biden was pledging to lower gas prices for Americans. It appears that Biden wasn't the only one spouting "poop." You can see in this video that even the birds were tired of listening to his spin, so they did what a lot of Americans wish they could do.
I'm reminded of a childhood rhyme that, as a 7-year old, I thought was hilarious.
The rhyme goes like this:
Birdie, Birdie in the sky
Dropped some white stuff in my eye.
I'm a big boy, I don't cry.
But I sure am glad cows don't fly.
"Birds can't vote, but you can."

Another interesting post. I deleted my twitter account a few months ago. I don't think I will be going back regardless of who owns/controls it. It just got to be completely degenerate. I have found a new podcast you might be interested in: The Quash, Legal Man. His intro will make you laugh but the content will thrill you.
Dale, your posts are always very good and I enjoy reading them, however, you have certainly outdone yourself with “Birds of a Feather.” It was excellent, absolutely excellent. Thanks for all your hard work and entertaining articles. Steven Spender
