It's been quite a week, and the deep-state swamp creatures have been very active.
The biggest news story has been the FBI's unprecedented raid on the home of a former president. The DOJ, using jackboot tactics, sent more than 30 FBI agents to ransack President Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida under the guise of "searching for documents."
The rumors and innuendos are swirling in the media. Since I have zero faith in what the media and the administration are telling us, I'm reserving judgment until the truth is known.
However, the timing is certainly suspect. It has given mainstream media and the administration cover to avoid talking about:
Joe Biden's approval being in the tank;
the economy keeling over faster than Joe on his bike;
the administration shoveling another $1 billion into the Ukraine bottomless pit, making a total of $9.8 billion so far (yet, we're doing nothing to protect our own border);
85% of the population believing the country is on the wrong track;
the J6 committee hearings not producing the results the Democrats were hoping for;
the CDC quietly changing their guidance on vaccine status discrimination (basically admitting they've been wrong);
and pollsters predicting a huge, red tsunami for the mid-term elections.
And now, reports are surfacing that the FBI agents involved in the raid are under investigation by Special Counsel John Durham, and may have had a personal stake in retrieving documents related to the Trump-Russia probe.
I'm sure there is much more to come out on all this, but President Trump doesn't seem to be breaking a sweat. He's even demanding that the documents be released.
Regardless of all the media and government hyperventilation (including a former CIA director endorsing Trump's execution), there is one thing that will prevail--the truth. I totally agree with Donald Trump's published statement:
The truth ALWAYS wins!
On a related lighter note, one thing we do know about the FBI's raid on Mar-a-Lago was that agents, in their search for evidence, ransacked Melania Trump's closet.
As reported by the Babylon Bee, AG Merrick Garland looked "unusually fetching in an elegant Dolce & Gabbana evening gown and a Dior sun hat" as he proclaimed that he personally authorized the raid of President Trump's home and that the search of Melania's closet was absolutely justified:
Two weeks ago, Nancy Pelosi had us all on edge when she flew into Taiwan in the face of threats that China would shoot down her plane. In fact, millions of people tracked Pelosi's plane on the internet to see if we would be at war with China.
Now it's being reported, after the fact, that Nancy Pelosi travelled to Asia with a special guest--a guest who was not listed on the official list of the attending delegation. That guest was her son, Paul Pelosi, Jr. Doesn't that seem a bit suspicious, given that he is the second largest shareholder in the Chinese telecom giant, Borqs Technologies? Even though Paul Pelosi, Jr.'s name was not listed, Nancy Pelosi later admitted that her son DID accompany her on the trip as an "escort" in lieu of her husband, who had been arrested for a DUI.
Could Paul Pelosi, Jr. possibly be increasing his family's fortune, just as Hunter Biden did for the "Big Guy?"
The swamp creatures in Congress have enacted, without a single Republican vote, the so-called "Inflation Reduction Act." Don't be fooled by the bill's Orwellian name. It doesn't reduce inflation. In fact, it will do the opposite.
Common sense dictates that you can't put out a fire by throwing gasoline on it. Likewise, you can't stop inflation by spending more money. The bill is a $700 billion pork-filled, election-year shell game that advances the progressive agenda. Here are some of the bill's "inflation solutions:"
tax credits for buyers of electric cars;
billions in subsidies to manufactures of solar panels, wind turbines, batteries and electric cars;
billions to promote "environmental and climate justice;"
billions to promote "climate-smart" farming (remember--they want us to stop eating meat and start eating crickets).
But how will the bill actually reduce inflation? Well, think back to Nancy Pelosi's quote about the Affordable Care Act in 2010 when she was questioned about what that bill contained. She famously said, "You'll have to pass the bill to find out what's in it."
Our current White House spokesperson, Karine Jean-Pierre, made a similar, but slightly different, claim about the now-passed Inflation Reduction Act. She said, “Let’s get this bill passed and then we’ll see how the mechanics and all of that’s gonna work."
It obviously didn't matter to the Democrats in Congress that 230 economists wrote letters of warning, saying that the bill would actually contribute to skyrocketing inflation and is bad for the economy. Nope, as long as it checks a box on the progressive wish list, it just needs to be rammed through. That's how creatures get things done in the swamp.
But wait. Not so fast, the Democrats say. There are provisions in the legislation that will increase revenues and more than offset the costs of their progressive "Build Back Better" wish list. These provisions include increased taxes and accounting regulations on corporations and small businesses, and more penalties and regulations on the fossil fuel industry. But we all know that corporations and businesses pass along increased costs to the consumer. How will this reduce inflation?
And now, we also find out that one of the biggest sources of revenue they're hanging their hats on is an estimated $124 billion "windfall" that will come from increased IRS enforcement. In order to accomplish this, the administration plans to spend $80 billion to increase the size and scope of the IRS. With 80,000 employees currently, they plan to hire an ADDITIONAL 87,000 new agents, thereby doubling the agency's size. The addition of these new agents will make the IRS larger than the Pentagon, State Department, FBI, and Border Patrol COMBINED.
And, since the beloved IRS is now empowered to increase enforcement, that maybe explains why they've spent over $700,000 buying ammunition. In fact, the IRS is hiring armed agents. Here is the official job posting. The IRS's 2021 annual report even shows training photos of agents storming suburban homes.
The swamp creatures are working very hard to take guns away from private citizens while, at the same time, arming their bureaucrats. That should scare you.
In closing, here's a word of warning to you parents and grandparents of kids who may want to set up a lemonade stand. The IRS will no longer tolerate anyone not reporting income. If your kids don't properly file their tax returns, this is what you can expect to happen:
So, Patriots--stand strong and use your own internal discernment to know the truth. Together, we can face down those in the government and media who are destroying our country and expose them for the swamp creatures they are.
