What are we teaching our children??
"Educating today's students to succeed in tomorrow's world" is the tagline of the Broward County Public Schools in Broward County, Florida. This school district is the sixth largest in the United States.
It appears, though, that parents had better make sure they understand what the school means by "tomorrow's world" before signing any field trip permission slip.
A school board member says she was "honored" to chaperone a group of elementary students on a field trip to Rosie's Bar & Grill, a gay bar in Wilton Manors, Florida.
Rosie's calls itself a place for "sassy fun." The menu includes items such as "Young Ranch Hand," "Willy Cheesesteak," "Rhoda Cowboy," "Ivana Hooker," "Ka'monawannalaya Dip," and something called, "Naked Sweaty Lovin'."
The field trip took place in the morning when the bar wasn't open. But the kids were still exposed to the vibe and the off-color menu items, all in the name of "learning more about their community."
Gee, I can remember when a field trip meant going to the museum or planetarium.
We were made aware over the past few weeks that Attorney General Garland has equated parents who speak out at school board meetings to "domestic terrorists." That all stemmed from a parent in Loudon County, Virginia, finding out that the school board had covered up the rape of his daughter by a transgender boy in a skirt using the girls bathroom.
This week, we find that AG Garland also threatened parents who speak out at school board meetings about lurid, graphic pornography being made available to (or pushed on) students. A HELICOPTER and the feds were sent to intimidate parents in Fairfax, Virginia.
One of the books in question is titled, Gender Queer; A Memoir, and contains graphic drawings and images of male-on-male sexual encounters. Examples of what is being found in the school library can be seen here. (Warning on Content.)
Recently, in a debate for the election of governor of the state of Virginia, the Democrat candidate, Terry McAuliffe, actually blurted out for all to hear, "I’m not going to let parents come into schools and actually take books out and make their own decisions. … I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”
Virginia's election for governor is on November 2, 2021. A recent Fox News poll has the Republican, Glen Youngkin, jumping to an eight-point lead. I wonder if that eight points is within the voting machine margin-of-error?
Finally, in some GOOD news about education, great things are happening at Southwood High School in Shreveport, Louisiana.
The school had been plagued with violence and disorder. Twenty-three students had been arrested over the course of three days; and school teachers and counselors were unable to do anything to maintain control.
That's when the dads showed up. A group of forty dads formed "Dads on Duty" to take shifts throughout the school day to monitor the kids' activities and prevent disorder. When the Dads showed up, the fighting immediately stopped. Kids admitted to liking having the Dads there because it made them feel safe. One girl even admitted that she liked all the "dad jokes" that came with it.
Take two-minutes to watch these heart-warming Dads. They're heroes in my book.
Isn't it funny how all those right-wing conspiracy theories turn out to be conspiracy fact?
Well, here's one that's coming to a state near you, and it's already being tested in Utah. It's called a DDL (Digital Driver's License.)
The program will digitize your records into a mobile ID app. It contains your driver's license and your Covid-19 status. The program also states that more of your personal information may be added in the future--health records, travel records, credit scores, any licenses and permits you may have, spending habits, voting, and SOCIAL CREDIT SCORE.
This will pretty much be the end of freedom as we know it. Welcome to China.
And, given the reliability of the Supreme Court lately, I wouldn't look to them for much help.
"Curiouser and curiouser."
Those words, as spoken by Alice in Wonderland, sure seem to pertain to Joe Biden's vaccine mandate.
On September 9, 2021, Biden held a press conference announcing that he would be directing OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) to issue a rule requiring private employers with more than 100 employees to mandate the vaccine. With those words, he jeopardized the employment of thousands of Americans.
There's only one problem, though. It was just a press release. There is no rule. The mandate doesn't exist.
It is anticipated to be coming, but OSHA has not yet sent anything to the Federal Register for publishing.
Why are workers being terminated and their families' livelihoods being threatened when there is currently NO law? Have small businesses been duped into forcing vaccines on employees simply by a press release and the resulting public perception of a mandate?
Who needs a Constitution when you have a populace so willing to comply?
And speaking of OSHA...
It seems that the old riddle, "If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" now applies to the "non-existent" government vaccine mandate.
Even though OSHA is supposedly working on developing a mandate rule that will be imposed on private employers; they are, at the same time, DISCOURAGING employers from reporting any adverse reactions to the mandated vaccine.
Wait, what?
Yep. The same government who intends to force employees to get the vaccine, doesn't want to know about any adverse reactions they may have from it.
The Department of Labor and OSHA have stated that, "OSHA does not wish to have any appearance of discouraging workers from receiving COVID-19 vaccination, and also does not wish to disincentivize employers' vaccination efforts. As a result, OSHA will not enforce 29 CFR 1904's recording requirements to require any employers to record worker side effects from COVID-19 vaccination at least through May 2022."
Just like the tree in the forest, if you have an adverse reaction from the jab and there isn't anyone around to record it, did it really happen?
This week, the FDA approved the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for kids ages 5 to 11.
The rapidity in which this has been approved is terrifying. And, just like the unapproved mRNA vaccines given to adults under an "Emergency Use Authorization," there are ZERO studies on the long-term effects for children.
Buried deep in the FDA's advisory panel hearing is a comment made by Dr. Eric Rubin, a Harvard professor and editor-in-chief of the New England Journal of Medicine.
He said (the video is embedded in the article):
"... we’re never going to learn about how safe this vaccine is unless we start giving it. That’s just the way it goes. That’s how we found out about rare complications of other vaccines like coronavirus vaccine. And I do think we should vote to approve it."
There you have it. Our kids are lab rats.
And in case you haven't seen this, a 13-year old girl, Maddy de Garay, wanted to volunteer for Pfizer's clinical trial and was signed up by her "pro-vaccine and pro-science mother." Immediately following Maddy's second injection, she developed severe adverse reactions which are continuing to this day. Maddy's mother decided, then, to create an ad to warn parents about the vaccine. She planned to run it on Comcast in conjunction with the FDA advisory panel's meeting. Comcast pulled the ad at the last minute. The ad has since been censored from social media. However, you can view the 30-second ad here. It's hard to watch. (Of course, under the PREP act, Pfizer has total immunity from any liability.)
Why are we doing this? Kids have a 99.99% chance of surviving COVID-19.
Because we're told we have to "follow the science?" This ISN'T science.
As a parent, this makes my blood run cold.
The experimental COVID-19 vaccine has now been rolled out on zoo animals all over the country. This includes bears, baboons, tigers and now skunks.
I guess these animals are better off than humans who work for Delta Airlines, though, because at least their health insurance premiums won't go up.
The Biden administration has allowed 1.7 million migrants into the country so far this year; and they're evidently still not satisfied.
Nope.
Now this administration wants to PAY illegal immigrants $450,000 for the "trauma" of being separated from their families. What?? The immigrants BROKE THE LAW by entering the country illegally.
There is major outrage developing over this. Families of military members killed in action get less compensation than this. Compensation for families of those killed in the 9/11 attacks received less than this.
I don't ever recall hearing a judge worried that American citizens would be separated from their families when they were arrested and sent to jail? These migrants are not American citizens and they have broken the law. This is beyond the pale.
You really don't have to look very hard to see where Joe Biden's priorities are--or those of whoever is pulling the strings.
We're facing another onslaught of migrants at our southern border.
A caravan of 3,000 migrants has refused an offer of humanitarian visas from the Mexican government if they dissolve their caravan. The members of the caravan took a vote and decided "it was a trap," allowing them to be "captured" by the Mexican government.
Of course, who needs a visa to stay in Mexico when you can just keep walking and cross the U.S. border?
But, wait! Maybe there's a way to turn lemons into lemonade. How about this for an idea? It just might save Christmas...
In the past, I've criticized today's music industry for the messages that are being sent to our young people. Gang violence, misogyny, and drug culture are all regularly featured in pop, rap and hip-hop genres.
But I do have some hope for the future.
As of this writing, on the Top 10 list of songs downloaded from iTunes, the #1 and #3 songs are entitled, "Let's Go Brandon."
And finally, this quote from world-renowned scientist, Carl Sagan:
“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.”

As usual a very informative posting to keep us aware of the daily attacks to strip us of our God given liberties! Where they are taking the children on field trips in Broward County is unbelievable, what are they thinking? I loved the “Dads on Duty” film clip. As far as the rest of this writing regarding the vaccine mandates, side effects experienced when given to children and the exorbitant amount of $450,000 to be given to illegal immigrants, irregardless of the reason, is definitely an outrage! Every day gets more frightening for those of us that are TRUE Americans that love this country!
