We're starting to see (finally!) some good news. After two years, people are waking up--and standing up--in droves.

Despite what's happening around the world, the Biden administration is going all out to lock America down even more.
We all know that the Supreme Court (SCOTUS) in a 6-3 decision, ruled against Biden's vaccine mandate for private employers.
But what do you do when you're Joe Biden and the highest court in the land slaps your wrist?
You snub the courts and do what you want anyway.
Biden is imploring employers to ignore the Supreme Court and just "step up" and "do the right thing" and "institute vaccination requirements to protect their workers, customers, and communities.”
Wow....remember when they called Donald Trump a dictator?
And speaking of Supreme Court decisions...
SCOTUS also ruled in a 5-4 decision, that healthcare workers CAN be required to be vaccinated.
I guess they have effectively created another class of citizens. Even though the following image is from the satire site, Babylon Bee, it is absolutely true. Healthcare workers are now the only Americans who are not allowed to make their own decisions about their personal healthcare.
When Joe Biden gave an update on the COVID-19 omicron surge on January 13, 2022, he announced steps that he's implementing to help control the spread.
One of the steps is to censor free speech. Listen to what he says here:
"I make a special appeal to the social media companies and media outlets; Please deal with the misinformation and disinformation that's on your shows. It has to stop. COVID-19 is one of the most formidable enemies America has ever faced. We gotta work together. Not against each other. We're America. We can do this."
At first glance, your natural inclination may be to think, "What's wrong with preventing misinformation and disinformation on media outlets?" The problem is that MANY would argue with what the government deems as "misinformation" and "disinformation." Biden's definition appears to be any information that contradicts the regime's approved narrative. The question SHOULD be, "Why can't we have an open and free debate of the issues?"
For the President of the United States to appeal to Big Tech and mainstream media to censor content on their platforms, is absolutely appalling. If there was ever any doubt in your mind about how the progressive left feels about freedom of speech as guaranteed by the Constitution, this is the perfect example. To try to shut down free speech and then, in the same breath, say, "This is America," should scare us all to death.
No, Joe. That is not America. And those are the words of a fascist dictator.
Mainstream media continues to ignore the subject of voter fraud. This flies in the face of things that are happening in multiple states (e.g., Pennsylvania, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Arizona). The media and the left continue to say that voter fraud didn't happen and that it's all a conspiracy theory.
The American public, however, thinks otherwise.
A Rasmussen poll released on December 23, 2021, shows that:
59% of Americans believe that cheating occurred in the 2020 presidential election;
70% believe mail-in voting leads to more cheating;
76% say requiring photo ID to vote is a reasonable measure to protect the integrity of elections.
Isn't it interesting to listen to the Democrats say that requiring photo ID is "racist" and is "voter suppression?"
How insulting is it to say that people of color or ANYONE in this day in age can't get a photo ID? We practically need it to do anything. Yet, these are the very same people who have no problem instituting ever-intrusive governmental measures in virtually every area of our lives. It's funny how they are totally fine with requiring a vaccine passport to travel, eat at a restaurant in some cities, or even to hold a job; but somehow find that showing a license or other ID before voting is beyond the pale.
Here's where the United States falls in requiring photo ID for elections:
The Democrats in blue states changed voting rules for the 2020 elections and when Republicans questioned this, they were smeared, investigated, and cancelled.
Now that their "voting integrity" legislation is defeated in the Senate, isn't it interesting that Joe Biden is already saying that Republicans are subverting the election process and trying to alter the results of the midterm elections?
I thought they said there was no fraud? Oh, yeah. They only say that when THEY win.
As stated above, the Senate, on January 19, 2022, delivered a stinging defeat to the Biden administration when it voted against passing the "voting rights" legislation. Specifically, the Freedom to Vote Act would have expanded voter registration (e.g., automatic and same-day registration) and voting access (e.g., vote-by-mail and early voting), and limit removing voters from voter rolls.
I find it interesting to point out the logic Joe Biden used when he gave a public speech in Georgia on January 11, 2022, to try and convince his Democrat colleagues in the Senate to pass that legislation. If you haven't listened to the speech, I'll translate it for you to save you the time and effort.
Biden called anyone who disagrees with his policies and actions "domestic enemies," "traitors," and "racists." He took Hillary Clinton's "basket of deplorables" insult to the next level.
Biden and his speechwriters actually have a little problem with history. In trying to make his point about protecting voting rights, he said this: “Will you stand against election subversion? Yes or no? . . . Do you want to be on the side of Dr. King or George Wallace? Do you want to be on the side of John Lewis or Bull Connor? Do you want to be on the side of Abraham Lincoln or Jefferson Davis?”
I'm not sure there are many people who recall the historical significance of the names he just threw out there. We know the "good guys"--Dr. Martin Luther King (father of the civil rights movement), John Lewis (civil rights activist who was beaten on the march to Selma, AL), and Abraham Lincoln (emancipator of slaves).
But who are these "bad guys"--George Wallace, Bull Connor and Jefferson Davis--to whom he's attempting to equate Republicans and anyone else opposing his Freedom to Vote Act?
George Wallace was a governor of Alabama and a segregationist.
Eugene "Bull" Connor was also a segregationist and, as public safety commissioner in Birmingham AL, let the Ku Klux Klan beat down civil rights activists. He notoriously released his police dogs on civil rights protestors.
Jefferson Davis was President of the Confederate States from 1861 to 1865.
But guess what all three of these "bad guys" have in common that Joe and his speechwriters conveniently leave out?
All of them were...DEMOCRATS!
On a bit of a lighter note, there are some Congressional maneuverings taking place...literally!
Nancy Pelosi is looking to fill a vacancy for the top spot on a powerful congressional committee. One member of the Democrat caucus being considered as chair of this committee is 84-year old, Eleanor Holmes Norton of Delaware.

Speaking of transportation, there's another dark side to the ever-worsening supply chain crisis--train robbers!
No...not that kind. It's even worse.
There's a broken link in the supply chain. Videos by CBS photojournalist John Schreiber show thousands of packages that have been looted from trains as they travel through neighborhoods in Los Angeles. “There’s looted packages as far as the eye can see. Amazon packages, UPS boxes, unused Covid tests, fishing lures, epi pens. Cargo containers left busted open on trains,” said Schreiber.
The video shows all the stuff the thieves have left behind. Anything with value is being fenced on the street or in local pawn shops.
Another facet of Joe Biden's war on COVID-19 is his plan to mail out 1 BILLION free at-home COVID tests to anyone who wants them. Americans could begin ordering these tests on January19th from the government website, COVIDtests.gov.
In typical government efficiency, however, the timeline on getting these tests to the 160 million households isn't really known. Some people involved in the effort estimate that the procurement, packaging and delivery of these tests could take weeks--or even months--to complete. That is well beyond the peak of the omicron surge, according to experts.
Hey, it's all about the optics, right? At least it makes it look like the government is doing SOMETHING.
Oh yeah. About those at-home COVID tests...
A contract worth $190 MILLION to mail out the tests was awarded to Medea, Inc., a company that doesn't actually manufacture the tests (or anything else, for that matter). Medea, Inc. will purchase the tests from other manufacturers.
So, what expertise does Medea, Inc. bring to the table that qualifies them as a prime government contractor for this effort?
Interestingly, Medea, Inc began as a marketer of vodka in bottles customized with LED lights saying "CONGRATULATIONS," "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY," "HAPPY BIRTHDAY," and "I LOVE YOU." They can even be paired to your phone with Bluetooth technology.
So there you go, folks. Our government at work to make our lives better. And you'd better believe that there's a money trail that leads to somebody's pockets somewhere.
But, hey...maybe life would be better if they'd just ship us all the vodka!
Another step the Biden administration is taking to combat COVID-19 is to begin distributing 400 million free N95 masks to U.S. residents beginning next week.
As we all prepare to grab our three free masks from our local pharmacies, take comfort knowing that, in addition to stemming the spread of the virus, wearing masks makes us look more attractive.
According to Sky News, researchers have found that women find men who wear the ubiquitous blue surgical masks to be more attractive because they are more "caring." Women who participated in the research said that, "the wearing of medical masks is reassuring and they feel more positive towards the wearer."
The study asked women to rate the attractiveness of men's faces shown in pictures without a mask, wearing a surgical mask, or covering their face with a black book. On a scale of 1 to 10, the women rated the blue surgical mask more attractive.
We're always told to trust the science and follow the data. Well, I happen to think this study may be flawed. I don't believe all possible conclusions were considered.
Maybe the women who found blue surgical masks attractive simply thought the men in the pictures were ugly.
Could be...
