This is a test. This is only a test. Heads up, New Yorkers!
The Department of Homeland Security and city agencies are planning to release "non-toxic gas" into the subway system to test "readiness" in the event of a biological or chemical attack.
The plan is to pump "aerosolized and inert tracer gases" into some of the most densely crowded areas of the New York subway system in order to obtain "actionable information for emergency preparedness." Officials say the test is being done for our safety, so it must be safe... right?
Does anyone else find this a little unsettling? Our government has a history of planning for things that remarkably happen soon after they test their readiness for such an event.
Two recent cases in point are:
120 teams from 29 countries took part in a technical cybersecurity training simulation in 2020. Code name: Cyber Polygon. Although this hasn't happened yet on a global scale, cyber hackers shut down Colonial Pipeline's operations with a ransomware attack in May of this year.
A simulation of a global pandemic was held in October 2019 to test global government readiness. Code name: Event 201. This happened to be only two months prior to the CCP virus appearing in Wuhan and spreading to the entire planet.
I try not to put on the proverbial tin-foil hat; but my trust in ANYTHING the government says has been severely damaged. In fact, it is non-existent. Sometimes, conspiracy "theory" oddly becomes conspiracy fact.
Does it come as any surprise that Joe Biden's nominee to head up the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has communist ties?
The OCC is an independent bureau of the U.S. Treasury and "charters, regulates, and supervises all national banks and federal savings associations as well as federal branches and agencies of foreign banks."
On September 23rd, Biden nominated Saule Omarova, a Cornell University law professor, to head up the OCC. She was born in the Soviet Union and graduated from Moscow State University in 1989. She was also named as senior fellow to the Berggruen Institute, which has close ties to Chinese government leaders. In the past, Omarova has made remarks favoring the Soviet system and indicating that, in many ways, it was preferable to our system.
In her confirmation hearings with the Senate Banking Committee, it was determined that Omarova wrote an undergraduate thesis when she was in the Soviet Union entitled, "Karl Marx’s Economic Analysis and the Theory of Revolution in The Capital." When Senator Pat Toomey asked her for a copy, she did NOT turn it over; and then the thesis was magically scrubbed from her resume.
Mr. President, is this how we "Build Back Better?" I've said this before--if you were going to help America commit suicide, would you do anything differently than what this administration is doing?
We, as citizens, received a lecture this week. We were told that we are spoiled American consumers who have been pampered and catered to for decades; and now that we're experiencing some minor inconveniences...we're whining. So knock it off!
Before the supply chain problem turned truly ugly, Amanda Mull, a reporter for The Atlantic, sniffed that, “For generations, American shoppers have been trained to be nightmares. The pandemic has shown just how desperately the consumer class clings to the feeling of being served.”
That was also the message delivered to us by the Biden-supporting defenders at the Washington Post this week. They admonished us to embrace the economy as it is and quit our belly-aching about it. Just LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS!
To these lectures, I say, "Sorry, but NO." The problem of empty store shelves, run away inflation, gasoline at over $5 per gallon, soaring energy prices for home heating, $9 for a pound of bacon, shortage of delivery drivers, shortages of car parts, etc., is NOT simply because of the arbitrary COVID-19 lockdowns. And our impatience with the situation is NOT because we are spoiled American consumers. We've SEEN a different, productive, vibrant America with our own eyes. We're better than this. No, these problems are a DIRECT result of our politicians instituting policies that are purposefully harmful and destroying the country.
Just look at three policies that, by themselves, are contributing to our problems:
Joe Biden cancelled the Keystone Pipeline, making the U.S. once again dependent on foreign oil; then proceeded to beg OPEC to pump more oil to combat rising prices. Gas prices are now $7.59/gallon in California.
In California (where a majority of the port backlogs are), the Green New Deal politicians have placed a ban on the use of trucks older than 2011.
A new law in California, AB 5, eliminates independent owner-operator truckers. This has essentially made independent drivers an endangered species.
SO...
During the worst supply chain crisis in history, we have governmental policy roadblocks being erected; we have our Secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg, out for two months on paternity leave; and we have Biden appointing a new head of the U.S. Maritime Administration, who has zero shipping experience.
Then, to add insult to injury, our out-of-touch political leaders downplay and make jokes about how inflation is really only a "high class problem," They snark about the "tragedy of the treadmill that won't be delivered" (Jen Psaki), and giggle about Santa Claus and his helpers getting toys to kids in time for Christmas (Kamala Harris).
How about a new campaign slogan?
Instead of "Build Back Better"....make it, "Lower Your Expectations!"
What have the Biden administration and our immigration czar, Kamala Harris, been doing to relieve the stress that has overwhelmed local immigration officials at the southern border?
The answer? They're flying planeloads of unaccompanied minors into suburban New York under the cover of darkness.
When questioned about these flights landing between 2:13 AM and 4:29 AM, Jen Psaki argued that it wasn't the "middle of the night," they were just very early flights. Okay, then.
Aside from the immigration policy of this administration being a total disaster and them choosing not to enforce existing federal law, this has other implications.
None of these immigrants are tested for COVID-19, given masks, or required to have the vaccine before being turned loose to roam the streets of our cities. Yet, thousands of nurses, doctors, first responders and members of our military are being fired. That should tell you everything you need to know--mask mandates and vaccine mandates have absolutely NOTHING to do with COVID-19 and our nation's health. They have EVERYTHING to do with power and control.
Have you heard the term, "The Great Reset?"
It stems from the World Economic Forum and the United Nations Agenda 21/2030. The Great Reset is a rather complicated manifesto that looks to impose standards on capitalist countries to "fundamentally transform" and "reimagine" the global economy. You can read summaries here and here. But, the bottom line is that the globalist elites are, little by little, slipping aspects of The Great Reset into our daily lives. In order for them to "transform" the global economy into something new, they have to destroy the old.
Part of the overall plan that has been in operation for a few years, is the rating of businesses using ESG scores. The "E" stands for "Environmental," the "S" stands for "Social," and the "G" stands for "Governance."
A company's ESG rating is determined by scoring its Environmental impact, its Social responsibility (i.e. diversity, gender acceptance, human rights, etc.), and it's Governance. Investors look at a company's ESG score to determine investment opportunities, potential partnerships, and even merger/takeover decisions.
For example, a company who is environmentally conscious, has a small carbon footprint, uses sustainable materials, embraces diversity, has the right number of minorities (without too many white people in management), and pays more than the minimum wage, will have a high ESG score. Can you think of any companies that would have low ESG scores? Coal producers? Gun manufacturers? Oil companies? Coal-fired power plants?
Capital investment and funding will dry up for these companies because banks won't lend to undesirable, low-scoring businesses. They must maintain their OWN ESG scores, after all! Stock prices will decline for low-scoring companies because investors will shun them. See where this is headed?
YOU will eventually have an ESG score, too. It's not here yet totally, but as soon as the government can put some teeth in things like the Green New Deal, it will be up and running.
Want to buy a car with not-so-great gas mileage? You won't be able to get a loan or insurance unless you buy the right (electric) car.
Want to get a personal mortgage on a house that is not insulated well enough or doesn't have solar panels? Forget it, or else pay higher interest costs.
Does your 401-K have investments in companies with low ESG scores? That's points off for you--and your portfolio value goes down because of your poor choices.
It's not hard to see a dystopian future with all this. (Dare I ask what the ESG score implications would be for someone refusing the COVID vaccine jab??)
Just be aware, and be prepared. You'll now recognize it when you see it happening.
It reminds me of the Johnny Cash song, "One Piece at a Time." The song is about an autoworker who wanted a Cadillac but couldn't afford one; so he stole the parts by carrying them out hidden in his lunchbox, one piece at a time. It took him twenty years, but he built his Cadillac, and it didn't cost him a dime. This is how it happens to the unsuspecting public. The powers-that-be sneak in their controlling agenda...one piece at a time.
The state of Indiana is telling Chicago cops to come on down!
Lori Lightfoot, mayor of Chicago, upped the ante last week with cops who are rebelling against her vaccine mandate. She threatened to cut off their retirement benefits if they opt to retire instead of complying with the mandate.
Well, the state of Indiana has told disgruntled Chicago policemen to check out their state. The perks of the job across the state line include: no vaccine mandate, lower taxes, better schools and welcoming communities.
How many of those cops do you think are putting a "For Sale" sign in their yard and looking at the Chicago skyline in their rear-view mirror? Bye, Lori.
Seattle's leftist city leaders turned yesterday's heroes into today's zeroes when they terminated firefighters for refusing the city's vaccine mandate. Firefighters marked the end of their service by depositing their boots on the stairs inside City Hall. The significance of the stairs is that it's where many of the firefighters were sworn in to do their job.
Then, they held a mask-free, vaccine-free, and sadly, job-free, bacon and eggs breakfast for the community to show that they still care (even if the city leaders don't).
Are you aware there are actually FOUR verses to the Star Spangled Banner? I wasn't, until I saw this video of a Marine sing the verse at a Tea Party rally back in 2010.
I think the fourth verse has an extremely powerful meaning for us today as we watch our country being battered and bruised by dark forces and agendas. Here are those lyrics:
O thus be it ever when freemen shall stand
Between their lov'd home and the war's desolation!
Blest with vict'ry and peace may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the power that hath made and preserv'd us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto - "In God is our trust,"
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
It may not seem like it, but we ARE winning. More and more people are waking up...and standing up, just as this illustration shows. We're almost there.
Stay steady, Patriots
