Tip of the Iceberg

Have you ever stopped to notice how many TV commercials advertise pharmaceuticals? You literally can’t watch any program without seeing a pitch for the latest drug to treat diabetes, arthritis, HIV and just about any other medical condition you can imagine.

I recently ran across an article that said that, prior to the COVID pandemic, drug companies were trying to ease out of manufacturing vaccines for the simple reason that they were not profitable. One-shot vaccines, primarily developed for poorer countries, simply weren't worth the investment. But when the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic emerged, government funding came pouring in and pharmaceutical profits soared to the tune of billions of dollars.

And now, today, the world-wide agenda to have everyone vaccinated is becoming increasingly authoritarian, radical and punitive. Is there a connection?

Yes, COVID-19 is a serious concern. But as I've pointed out in several previous posts, there ARE extremely effective treatments that have been suppressed and withheld from the public. Why are governments creating such havoc in their cultures and economies to mandate vaccines?

Who's running the show? Is it the WHO (World Health Organization)? Is it the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention)? The FDA (Food and Drug Administration)? The NIH (National Institute of Health)? Dr. Fauci's organization, the NIAID (National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases)?

Those may be the people and organizations who appear to be orchestrating things. But, like an iceberg, 90% of it remains hidden below the surface.

Let’s go a little deeper below the waterline and ask some questions.

Here in the U.S., who is directing our domestic COVID-19 policy? Most Americans would probably say, the CDC, the FDA, Dr. Fauci, and the government.

That’s true on the surface, but who is directing THEM?

A little deeper down, we find “Big Pharma”-- defined as the "collective group of large, multi-national pharmaceutical companies considered to be a politically influential group.” Some familiar names included in this group are Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, Moderna, AstraZeneca, BioNTech and Eli Lilly.

Most people believe that the CDC sets the standard for medical care in this country. But the actual truth is that the CDC, according to research done by the BMJ (formerly The British Medical Journal), is in bed with Big Pharma. The CDC gets millions of dollars each year from Big Pharma and then turns around and recommends drugs and tests manufactured by those very same companies. According to the BMJ report, Congress passed laws in 1983 and 1992 allowing the CDC to “accept external gifts” from the pharmaceutical industry and then Congress created a non-profit foundation to promote “relationships between the industry and the agency.”

And why did Congress think this was a good idea?

Politics. It’s how the game is played...and Big Pharma knows how to play it.

Statistics released ahead of the 2020 election show that two-thirds of Congress (72 senators and 302 representatives) cashed checks from Big Pharma. The sum total of payouts to Congress amounted to $14 million. With that kind of leverage and lobbying power, it’s easy to see that the government isn’t working with Big Pharma. It‘s working for Big Pharma. It also stands to reason that politicians—even if they are not direct recipients of a cash payment--know better than to speak out against Big Pharma lest their careers in D.C. come to an abrupt end. Maybe that’s why Congress has granted an exemption from liability to the pharmaceutical companies that created the COVID-19 vaccines?

And Big Pharma's connections to Congress go even deeper. It’s virtually a revolving door. A report compiled by Kaiser Health News in 2018 showed that as many as 340 congressional staffers, after their stint in Congress, ended up working for pharmaceutical companies or their lobbying firms. It only takes a few phone calls, some payouts (bribes?), and a few well-placed incentives (threats?) to the right people for Big Pharma to get what they want from Congress. That’s politics.

Another way Big Pharma influences policy is by placing the right people in the right positions of power. For example, the former head of the FDA--the agency that grants approval for drugs--is Scott Gottlieb. Gottlieb currently serves on the board of directors for Pfizer. Alex Azar, formerly with the pharmaceutical company, Eli Lilly, served as Secretary of Health and Human Services from 2018 until 2021.

Another interesting connection (or dare I say potential conflict of interest?) is Christine O’Grady. She is Chief of the Department of Bioethics at the NIH and is responsible for guiding the “ethics” of the government organization’s work. The NIH oversees Dr. Fauci’s organization, the NIAID. What you may not know is that she is Dr. Anthony Fauci’s wife.

Now. if we stir in the mainstream media and Big Tech, you’ve got a recipe for complete control. As we know, the MSM and Big Tech (Facebook, Google/YouTube, Twitter, et al.) have set themselves up as the censoring “ministry of truth.” By amplifying the narrative and suppressing counterarguments, they have established the ready-made “truth” about COVID-19 and the vaccines.

And WHY is the MSM and Big Tech so willing to be in lockstep with this effort?

Let’s go even deeper. And the deeper we go, the darker the water.

It gets a lot more complicated now because, if you follow the money trail and look at who the major shareholders of the pharmaceutical companies are, you can see it comes down to basically three large institutional investors: Blackrock, Inc., the Vanguard Group, and State Street Corporation. Here’s a list showing Pfizer’s top three shareholders: Blackrock, Vanguard and State Street. Here’s Johnson and Johnson’s. And here’s Merck's (maker of the new COVID pill). Yep. They are ALL owned mainly by those same three institutions. Interesting, no?

If you want to see how really sketchy it gets, take a look at the top shareholders of Big Tech companies, Facebook, Google, and Twitter. Blackrock, Inc. and Vanguard are the biggest shareholders.

But wait, there’s more! Let’s look at the ownership of mainstream media companies: CNN (owned by AT&T), ABC (owned by Disney), NBC (owned by Comcast), CBS (owned by Viacom), Fox, The New York Times, Washington Post (owned by Jeff Bezos a/k/a Amazon)? Are you surprised that Blackrock and Vanguard are the top shareholders of these companies as well?

So, who are the top shareholders of Blackrock, Inc? Actually, believe it or not, it’s Vanguard and...Blackrock itself. Blackrock owns the second largest amount of its own stock. Vanguard, however, is privately owned so we don’t know who owns them. Pretty weird, huh? Blackrock and Vanguard own all these companies and Vanguard owns Blackrock.

(If you want to spend a little time looking into this further, I highly recommend an article by Bill Sardi entitled, “Who Runs the World? Blackrock and Vanguard)

So, now that we’ve done a little diving below the surface, what conclusions can we come to?

Some would argue that, with the amount of money to be made, the vaccines weren’t made for COVID; but rather, COVID was made for the vaccine.

You can draw your own conclusions.

When governments and the powers-that-be make pronouncements about how we should live our lives for the “good of society,” remember the iceberg. It’s what’s hidden below the surface that presents the danger.

Look what happened to the Titanic.

All is not as it appears. Ask questions, Use your own discernment. Do your research.
