Day after day, we hear the Democrats and talking heads of the dying mainstream media blather on about the "end of democracy."
"Electing Donald Trump will be the end of democracy as we know it!"
"January 6th was the end of democracy!"
But don't be fooled.
The United States of America is not a democracy. We are a constitutional republic.
In fact, our Constitution does not even use the word "democracy." Neither does the Declaration of Independence nor the Bill of Rights.
The short video below explains it all very succinctly. Unfortunately, this is what is missing from our education system.
I'm afraid we'll be hearing the phrase, "the end of democracy," ad nauseum in the coming months.
Upon the signing of the Constitution in 1787, Dr. Benjamin Franklin was asked what kind of government the convention had just given America.
His response:
“A republic, if you can keep it.”

Dale, thank you, thank you, thank you!! So few people, including some conservatives (all liberals) understand we are a constitutional republic, which is a form of democracy, but the United States is not a democracy. Thanks for explaining it. Maybe liberals will start proclaiming “This is the end of our constitutional republic.” Doesn’t quite have the same ring, does it?
