I'm sure most of us have heard the phrase, "Going to hell in a handbasket." There are some interesting theories on the phrase's origin; but it basically means that something is headed for disaster or doom.
Which brings us to today. To me, that "something" headed for disaster is our country--and all of western civilization for that matter. Given the information and statistics I'm about to show you...I'll take it one step further and say that we are in a spiritual war between good and evil. It's a war that has gone far beyond conservatives and liberals, right and left. We are in a battle for the very soul of our nation and the world.
The woke, left-wing, progressives tell us that we MUST have "gender justice" (whatever that means). The emphasis on transgenderism, pornography, pedophilia, and their relentless pursuit of grooming our innocent children is downright evil.
America has turned from a nation that promoted morality and a belief in God to a nation where the most perverse and ungodly acts are accepted, applauded and glorified. And if anyone disagrees or speaks out against this immorality, they are quickly shamed, censored, cancelled and even arrested for "hate speech." These tactics have often been enough to force public figures into silence, or for them to offer groveling apologies to the baying mobs of cultural leftists. In turn, this reinforces in everyone's mind that this immorality is to be accepted and is, somehow, normal.
And the rest of the world is following suit.
A story out of Canada recently demonstrates this. A "so-called" Catholic school suspended a conservative teenager, Josh Alexander, for the rest of the school term for saying that God created only two genders and for protesting transgenders using the girls' bathrooms. The school justified his suspension by saying that his presence would be “detrimental to the physical and mental well-being of transgender students." I guess the well-being of the female students forced to share their bathrooms with biological males doesn't matter to the woke school administrators?? In a later development to this story, this young man returned to school, but was then arrested for trying to attend class.
In another example, over 12.5 million viewers tuned in last Sunday, February 5, to watch the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards show. What they saw was a blatant display of satanic rituals gracing their television screens. The performance of the award-winning song, "Unholy," by Sam Smith and Kim Petras (the first transgender woman to win in the pop/duo category) was complete with fire, red leather dominatrix-style costumes, bondage, overtly sexual gyration, devil horns and children bowing before Satan.

It's interesting to note that in a pre-broadcast tweet, CBS said that they were "ready to worship."
I know ceremonies like this have been going on in secret for millennia. But now it's on primetime TV for all--including our children and youth--to see. They don't seem to even worry about hiding it any more.
Oh, yeah. And the Grammys were sponsored by....Pfizer!
In a previous post, entitled "Child Sacrifice," we discussed how the progressive left is coming for our children. They are doing everything within their power to normalize child pornography, transgenderism, genital mutilation, and pedophilia.
Everywhere we turn today we (and our children) are bombarded with images of sex and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, music, TV and in school.
A recent study by Open The Books (a non-profit, non-partisan organization) investigated a charity run by Jennifer Siebel Newsom. Siebel Newsom is the wife of Democrat darling, Gavin Newsom, governor of California. The charity in question is called The Representation Project, which touts itself as being “committed to building a thriving and inclusive society through films, education, and social activism.” That doesn't sound so bad, right?
But let's start peeling away the layers of the onion...
The Representation Project has released four films advocating "gender justice." The films, complete with curricula lesson plans, are being used in over 5,000 schools in all fifty states. The Representation Project claims over 11,200 copies of the curricula have been distributed, reaching more than 2.6 million students.
In one of the films entitled Miss Representation, middle-schoolers, under the guise of being "age-appropriate," are shown a video with images such as this:
Then, it gets worse.
Another of the organization's film, The Mask You Live In, features the website addresses of porn sites including Porn Hub, MassiveCams, BDSM.XXX, and Brazzers.com. The pornographic images displayed in the film are tagged with descriptions such as “domination,” “face f**k,” “kinky couples,” and “…dirty brunettes.”

I would suggest that you read the entire investigative report by Open The Books, especially since Gavin Newsom is being floated as a Democrat presidential candidate in 2024.
On another front, there are the teachers and TikTok-ers who, themselves, are attempting to groom children via their social media posts. Here is one telling them how to "disrespect their elders":
From a disturbing report by The Rutherford Institute, it is apparent that evil walks among us every single minute of every single day.
Consider these statistics as outlined in their report:
Every two minutes, a child is bought and sold for sex.
Hundreds of young girls and boys—some as young as 9 years old—are being bought and sold for sex, as many as 20 times per day.
Adults purchase children for sex at least 2.5 million times a year in the United States.
In Georgia alone, it is estimated that 7,200 men (half of them in their 30s) seek to purchase sex with adolescent girls each month, averaging roughly 300 per day.
On average, a child might be raped by 6,000 men during a five-year period.
It is estimated that at least 100,000 to 500,000 children—girls and boys—are bought and sold for sex in the U.S. every year, with as many as 300,000 children in danger of being trafficked each year. Some of these children are forcefully abducted, others are runaways, and still others are sold into the system by relatives and acquaintances.
Our current culture, given its obsession with sex, gender, and pornography, is literally grooming our children to fall victim to these predators.
So what do we do? What CAN we do?
For those of us who have children or grandchildren in public schools, demand from their teachers to see the curriculum they are being taught. Demand accountability from your school boards. I know we've all seen what happens to parents who protest at school boards and how school boards stall and stonewall. But form a community with like-minded parents and go as a group--the larger the better. Make it a media event. We MUST shine a spotlight on what is happening to our children. They truly are our future and our most priceless treasure.
Pay attention and talk to your children about what they are seeing and how they are feeling. Have open discussions with them about these most sensitive subjects and listen in an openhearted manner to their views and concerns.
Do NOT stay silent. Call out evil for what it is. Name the demon. And don't be afraid to face down the baying mobs.
