When a subject suddenly becomes a "trending topic" on social media, it seems to take on a life of its own.
Last week, social media exploded over a term that was new to me. The phrase that caused the stir was "mass formation psychosis." It started on the Joe Rogan podcast, where Joe interviewed twitter-banned Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of the mRNA technology used in the COVID-19 vaccines. Dr. Malone explained his observation of mass formation psychosis in large swaths of the population and its debilitating effects worldwide. Social media then took over and everyone seemed to be an expert on the subject--which meant I had to do some research to catch up.
It turns out that, even though the idea of "herd mentality" has been around for hundreds of years, "mass formation psychosis" is a theory developed by Dr. Mattias Desmet. a psychologist and statistician at the University of Ghent in Belgium. Dr. Desmet coined the phrase to explain the sort of "hypnosis" we're seeing in the COVID-19 pandemic.
First, a definition. "Psychosis" is defined as, "a severe mental disorder in which thought and emotions are so impaired that contact is lost with external reality." When the term "mass formation psychosis" is used, the word "mass" refers to a crowd of people. Mass formation psychosis is when a population or group becomes so focused--essentially hypnotized--on a single thing, that it loses touch with reality.
The theory holds that the conditions needed to set up mass formation psychosis include a population who feels socially disconnected, who thinks that the world around them makes no sense, and who is bombarded with a narrative that presents an object of anxiety. If the crowd believes it has no ability to free themselves from their anxiety, individuals within the group come together to battle the threat via a collective mindset. As this condition progresses, the population becomes increasingly bonded and connected over the focus of their anxiety. The longer the anxiety continues, the narrower their field of attention becomes; and they are completely unable to consider alternative points of view. Leaders emerge who establish themselves as "experts," whom the crowd then reveres and believes to be incapable of wrongdoing.

The idea of mass formation psychosis doesn't just apply to our current situation. It has happened numerous times throughout the course of history. The most recent and obvious example is what happened in Germany in the 1930's and 1940's. How else could an educated, sophisticated, Western nation exterminate 6 million Jews?
The burning of witches in the 16th and 17th centuries is another example. The mass psychosis of the fear of Satan and black magic led to the Salem witch trials in this country; and, according to historians, the torture, burning or hanging of 200,000 witches in Western Europe.

Dr. Malone knows all too well about this subject because he, himself, is a victim of it. He has been banned, impugned and vilified for speaking out on the handling of the pandemic by the government and medical elites.
In his interview, he stated that people under mass formation psychosis are unable to recognize any misrepresentations and lies that are told to them. ANYONE who has the audacity to share information that contradicts the narrative which the masses have come to embrace are attacked and summarily punished--today's equivalent of being "burned at the stake."
Families and friendships have been torn apart by this process. Many have found that their family members have "ghosted" them because they've questioned the officially endorsed “truth” by researching alternate (censored) scientific/medical information and data. It continues to be a source of deep anguish and psychological pain for many.
We've all seen the mass hysteria over masks and vaccine mandates. Some people have literally lost their minds. How many instances have we seen of people being physically attacked over the wearing of masks? We are literally watching Dr. Desmet's hypotheses being proven in real-time.
Here are a few other examples of what abject fear has caused people to do:
Ronald McDonald House is a charity run by the McDonald's Corporation. Their mission, according to their website, is to "create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children. Guiding us in our mission are our core values: Lead with compassion and focus on the critical needs of children..."
A story published on January 12, 2022 reports that the Ronald McDonald House in Vancouver, British Columbia, is requiring that all children and families staying at the facility be vaccinated. Any person not vaccinated by January 17th, 2022. will be evicted. This came to light when, Austin Furgason, the father of a 4-year old boy being treated for leukemia, was given an eviction notice that the family must vacate their apartment at Ronald McDonald House if they are all not vaxxed.
The letter states that the new rules are to protect against the “infection and transmission” of COVID among “vulnerable populations.” But, as we have been told by Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the CDC, it has been confirmed that the vaccine does NOT prevent the transmission and spread of COVID. If it did, that would be the only logical reason Ronald McDonald House would require those staying in a medical housing facility to be vaccinated. How is it rational for an organization dedicated to saving the lives of sick children to evict a family with a cancer-stricken child?
That certainly is bad enough. But when you read some of the comments left on the Furgason family's Facebook post where they shared their GoFundMe page, it gets even worse. This is their GoFundMe request:
"Austin and Lindsay Furgason are active members of Harvest Church in Kelowna, and passionately involved within their community in Kelowna BC.
Their son Jack was recently diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) and is currently staying in Vancouver undergoing treatment.
I asked Austin's permission to make this Go Fund Me, and he said:
" We love our boy and we trust God to see us through this and restore our family, however there is a financial burden as my wife had to leave her job and move to Vancouver for treatment, and care for him. Leukemia type (ALL) is the most common cancer in children but only 30 kids in BC get it each year, 40 years ago this would've been a death sentence; we feel really grateful to live in Canada for sure where we call a number and they bring us food and everything. Now it is a 90% survival rate.
Please help this family however you can. It's a long road ahead and it's my hope that finances is the least of their concern.
May God Heal this boy.
Amen."

So are we, as a society, doomed to succumb to mass formation psychosis?
NO.
Brave men and women everywhere are beginning to stand up and openly question ANYTHING that doesn't make sense. "Digital soldiers" around the globe are using uncensored internet search tools to fact=check and cross-check EVERYTHING that is reported by governments and mainstream media. Organizations like Project Veritas are doing all within their power to ensure that the truth is exposed.
If you look around, you can observe things starting to change and shift.
People are seeing that the leaders whom we worshipped are fallible, and it is becoming apparent that they have lied to us and caused unimaginable suffering. The latest release of Project Veritas emails shows that, at the very least, Dr. Fauci has perjured himself. Former advisor to the Clinton administration and Rhodes scholar, Dr. Naomi Wolf, has even gone so far as to say that this newly released information demonstrates the "manslaughter of millions of people coordinated at the highest levels."
It is being discovered that drugs like Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin were HIDDDEN from the public by the medical elites, when these therapeutics could have saved thousands of lives.
People are waking up to the fact that economic shutdowns and the destruction of personal wealth were not done for the safety of the public, but rather for the benefit of the global elites and big corporations. Think back -- was your local True Value hardware store forced to close while Home Depot down the road was allowed to operate? Were small mom-and-pop stores shut down while Target and Wal-Mart were allowed to thrive?
We called nurses and frontline healthcare workers heroes when they labored through the early, extremely fearful days of the pandemic. We stood on balconies and saluted them by beating pots and pans for unselfishly risking their lives and doing their jobs to take care of the sick. But now, if they refuse to get the experimental jab, they are fired and walked out of their jobs. (And, in an ironic twist, hospitals are begging vaccinated, INFECTED nurses to come in to work to take care of sick people in the hospitals that are short-staffed due to them firing unvaccinated nurses.)
After bludgeoning President Trump and Governor Ron Desantis over COVID-19 case counts, the Associated Press is now instructing its reporters to no longer use case counts in their reporting. Is that because case counts are worse now under Joe Biden and the AP doesn't want to hurt Democrats going into mid-term elections? Hmmm...
The European Union and the World Health Organization have SUDDENLY changed course on booster shots. Just three weeks ago, the EU was recommending repeated booster doses. Now, they warn that repeated boosters could cause damage to the immune system. Are they finally paying attention to the data?
People are waking up all around the world.
Lastly, to give you further hope, following is a speech that Dr. Malone recently gave in Tampa FL on the subject of mass formation psychosis. Unbeknownst to Dr. Malone, an audience member recorded the talk and it was later appended with tranquil pictures. It is worth the 13-minute investment of your time. If you're like me, I found it comforting and even healing in a way.
People ARE waking up...slowly, but surely. We need to keep standing up, digging for the truth, and rejecting the fear-mongering and manipulation that bombards us day-in and day-out.
