Think back to the election of 2020. What was it that people voted for?
Millions of Americans voted for Donald Trump to be president for a second term, not because they particularly liked the man--though, many did--but because they liked the direction the country was taking. Trump's first-term policies resulted in energy independence, high employment, stability in the Middle East, lower gas prices, firmness in U.S. foreign policy and a protected southern border.
Then, there were those who voted for Joe Biden; again, not because they particularly liked the man--though, many did-- but because they DIDN'T like Donald Trump. They wanted a return to "civility," an end to mean tweets, somebody who could bring the country together, a grandfatherly type of leader. They didn't mind the man who could spin stories about being the only white lifeguard at an all-black city pool, standing up to Corn Pop ("a really bad dude"), riding 1.5 million miles on the Amtrak train to Delaware. and, you know, "good ol' middle-class Joe from Scranton."
Many Biden voters were so blinded by their hatred of Donald Trump that they were also blinded to the positive things he accomplished for America. And we're still seeing that hatred being reinforced today; as just about every news story on CNN, MSNBC and other left-wing media is somehow STILL about demonizing Donald Trump.
SO. Here we are. America today.
And it's nothing like Joe Biden promised:
a continuing COVID-19 pandemic--with additional vaccine mandates and loss of freedoms;
rampant inflation;
high gas prices;
out-of-control crime in our cities;
a weak and woke military;
illegal immigrants flooding our border and being transported throughout our country in the dead of night;
loss of confidence by our allies and a potential war brewing with Russia.
Here are a few news stories this week that people who voted for "middle-class Joe" maybe didn't bargain for...
We just learned that Biden's Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is planning on distributing crack pipes to drug addicts to make drug use "safer" and to advance "racial equity." Yes, you read that right. As part of a $30 million grant program, the HHS will provide "smoking kits/supplies." These kits contain pipes for drug users to smoke crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, and "any illicit substance." In order to insure "racial equity," applications for these grants from non-profits and local communities will be prioritized to favor "underserved" communities, including "African American and LGBTQ+ persons."
It's a federal crime to distribute and sell drug paraphernalia...unless, I guess, the government does it. Wouldn't it make more sense to use the money for preventing drug use instead of enabling drug abuse? And besides, isn't it racist to be handing out drug paraphernalia on the basis of skin color? Will you need to show a photo ID to get a crack pipe from the government?
This was one of the little goodies that was on the leftist wish list contained in the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, also known as the COVID-19 Stimulus Bill. If you remember, that bill passed the Senate along party lines, with VP Kamala Harris casting the tie-breaking vote.
Oh, and this just in.
The Department of Justice is considering opening safe injection sites to give drug users a "safe haven" to inject heroin and other narcotics. And yet...Ivermectin, a Nobel Prize winning drug that has saved millions of human lives, is still being suppressed as a treatment of COVID-19??
I don't think anyone who voted for the Biden-Harris ticket thought they'd be voting for any of this.
Middle-class Joe also wants you to think he's tough on crime. That's another way to appeal to the hard-working, blue-collar American, right?
Well, not so fast. Biden's Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is on the scene. The HHS has the potential to give a George Soros-backed non-profit organization nearly $200 million dollars to help illegal immigrants escape punishment. The giant left-wing non-profit, Vera Institute of Justice, will fund lawyers for illegal immigrants and undocumented minors.
Do you think people who voted for "middle-class Joe" realized they were voting to give their hard-earned tax dollars to hire lawyers to represent illegals who are breaking the very laws the Biden administration is obligated to uphold?
"Middle-class Joe" is also looking for a bump in his disastrous approval polls.
What better way than to fix the economy? On Friday, February 4, 2022, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released the latest employment numbers.
Lo and behold, it's a miracle!
According to the BLS, the U.S. economy gained 467,000 jobs. That was three times more than the consensus of 78 economists who were expecting around 180,000 jobs created. In a speech from the White House Friday morning, Biden cited "the strongest economic growth in 40 years," and also proclaimed, "America is back to work."
Let's pause here for a second to recall the old saying, "Figures don't lie, but liars do figure."
There is a much more accurate (and trustworthy) employment report published each month by ADP Research Institute. Unlike the BLS data that is massaged by government accountants, the ADP National Employment Report provides a monthly snapshot of U.S. nonfarm private sector employment based on actual transactional payroll data reported by actual businesses. It appears from the private ADP payrolls report that the economy actually LOST 301,000 jobs in January.
How could there be such a discrepancy?
It's easy-- you simply revise every job reports number going back to 2017 and then pack it all in January 2022. Bottom line is that every single job report in 2021 was bogus.
We're into the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and certainly not without controversy.
Many around the world who are aware of the appalling human rights violations in China, especially toward the minority Uyghur population, are calling these the "Genocide Games."
The Uyghurs (pronounced wee-goorz) are the largest minority ethnic group, primarily Muslim, in China's northwestern Xinjiang province. Human rights groups have produced evidence that the authoritarian Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is conducting systematic extermination of this population through "re-education camps," forced sterilization, and forced labor.
One of the most controversial aspects of the games, to date, is the fact that China used a Uyghur athlete to light the Olympic flame at the opening ceremony. That move has drawn criticism from around the world. Some believe that the torch lighting by a Uyghur was a blatant propaganda attempt to deflect claims that China is guilty of genocide. At the same time, China denies any human rights abuses in Xinjiang and says its camps provide "vocational training" and are needed to "fight extremism."
NBC's Savannah Guthrie, in her comments during the opening ceremony, seemed to have fallen for the cynical propaganda presented by the Chinese. She said that the use of the Uyghur athlete was "an in your face response to those Western nations, including the US, who have called this Chinese treatment of that group genocide and diplomatically boycotted these games." Her remarks set off a media firestorm, with some accusing her of being a shill for the Chinese communist regime.
As an aside, it is reported that the Uyghur athlete who lit the torch was "chosen" by President Xi Jinping. In light of the human rights abuse claims, does being "chosen" mean that if she didn't comply and smile for the global media, her life and family would be threatened?
Dinigeer Yilamujiang, the chosen Uyghur athlete, is a skier. She finished 43rd in her race. After her race, she disappeared and hasn't been seen since.

The 2022 Winter Olympics are also being called the "Dystopian Games."
We just talked about China using a minority Uyghur athlete to light the Olympic flame. Many are equating this with the 1936 Olympic games in Berlin, where Hitler used a "token Jew" for his propaganda show for the world. Adding to the dark feel of the games are the nearly empty stadiums due to COVID protocols, reporters being dragged off by Chinese security, athletes missing their events because of questionable COVID testing, and quarantine hotels with bad food and miserable isolation. Some athletes say they are crying everyday.
What makes things feel even more dystopian is that the TV coverage portrays an alternate "everything is beautiful" reality. When it comes to visuals, NBC (under the CCP's watchful eye) is making it look great.
Especially the Big Air venue. Most of the views of this venue you see on television look like this:

But when the cameras zoom out, this is what you see:
It's not quite the image you're used to seeing when you think of ski venues in snow-capped mountains. Some viewers on social media thought it looked like a nuclear power plant. NBC's Mike Tirico proclaimed that the site is "visually stunning," even though it's built on an abandoned steel mill in the middle of an industrial wasteland.
No matter what you think about it, it's certainly a picture of a dystopian façade that seems to fit the overall feel of these Olympics.
Finally, some great news!
It looks like the Canadian patriot truckers' Freedom Convoy is accomplishing their goal. As of yesterday, the Premier of Saskatchewan, Scott Moe, has announced that February 13, 2022, will officially mark the end of the vaccine passport and negative testing mandate in that province.
Moe has stated that the policy has "run its course." He further said that it is time to live with COVID-19 and get back to some sense of normalcy, while focusing on healing the divisions in communities and families.
The United Kingdom, Denmark, Norway and Switzerland have all lifted their remaining COVID-19 restrictions. In the U.S., COVID-19 cases continue to fall and a bombshell report released by Johns Hopkins University states that lockdown measures (e.g., school shutdowns, business closures, and mask mandates) reduced deaths by ONLY 0.2 %. The report emphasized that, at the same time, the measures caused tremendous damage to the economy and contributed to serious mental health issues for adults and, especially, children. How long before the Biden administration, Dr. Fauci, and the CDC release their grip on us?
As for the Canadian truckers, they continue to hold the line for freedom. They're doing this in spite of the crowd-funding platform, GoFundMe, cancelling $10 MILLION of donations and returning all the money to donors; in spite of the police seizing fuel used to keep them warm in sub-freezing temperatures; and in spite of the police arresting supporters who bring food and supplies.
